Lickinghole Creek Spit Roaster Imperial Brown Ale with Pineapple
English-Style Brown Ale
We love a good spit roast as much as the next guy, so what we've done is recreate the taste by using smoke malt. To compliment the smokiness, we added pineapple juice in the kettle, and finished it with fresh chunks of pineapple for a solid punch of island goodness that gives you a nice smoky fruity nose, with a dense mouthfeel. If you close your eyes and turn on the sound machine – you'll swear you're eating ham and pineapple, while drinking a beer--in Hawaii, or Goochland.
